Join us for a night of comradery, advice, and wisdom in the Upper Iowa Student Center Ballrooms in Fayette. University students, faculty, and staff, as well as our neighbors in the community are all invited to register and attend.

The Peacock Athletics Department is hosting an EmpowHER Dinner and program that will include some of our female student-athletes sharing their stories, a panel discussion with UIU female alumni and local female leaders, and a keynote message from Tara Thomas and Amanda Goodman of Faith & Four Letter Words, as well as appetizers, a dinner, and dessert for all attendees. Cost for attendees for both the dinner and program is $35.

The dinner and program is a product of Upper Iowa Athletics EmpowHER Fund, which launched in the summer of 2022. The Peacock EmpowHERment Fund aims to enhance the educational and athletic-related resources provided to our women's sports programs while also, celebrating the success and excellence of our female student-athletes, coaches, and administrators - past, present, and future. UIU is committed to inspiring, empowering, and supporting our female student-athletes, coaches and administrators, as well as those that ally themselves to the cause. After establishing this fund, alumni, fans and friends of UIU Athletics are able to share in that commitment and help build a sustainable future for the women's athletics programs at Upper Iowa. Funds raised will be used to provide our women's programs with new uniforms/gear, female-focused speakers & training opportunities, mental health resources, team-building outings, and facility improvements.
