Upper Iowa University will hold its annual Peacock Football Media Day in the press box and on the turf at
Harms-Eischeid Stadium in Fayette on Monday, Aug. 19. The event will begin upstairs in the press box at 11:30 a.m. when the media meets with Head Coach
Tom Shea and enjoys a lunch together. After practicing Monday morning, the team will return to the field in uniform for pictures and interviews with the media from 1 to 2 p.m.
The Peacock football team reported to campus on Monday, Aug. 12 and will open preseason camp on Wednesday, Aug. 14. The team will have six practices prior to meeting with the media and then hold six more practices prior to the start of classes on Aug. 26.
UIU will open the season on the road at Augustana University on Sep. 7 at 1 p.m. All six Peacock football home games are set to broadcast live on KCRG-TV 9.2 or 9.3, which covers the eastern half of the state of Iowa. In addition to the television broadcast, all 11 games will be aired live on AM 950 KOEL and will be covered through live stats and webcasts.
