UIU had eight different players knock down a 3-pointer in the game, on their way to 16 trifectas and hit the century mark for the first time in Dorman Gym this season.

The Peacocks fell behind by 11 early in the game, 18-7, as SCSU guards Scottie Stone and Gage Davis led the Huskies to a fast start. The Peacocks were then sparked by junior Luke Lenhart, who had three 3-pointers in four possessions. Then with four minutes left, a Carson Parker 3-pointer tied the game at 33-33, followed a Jace Hanna three to take the lead. The Huskies closed the first half on a 10-4 run and UIU went into the halftime break down one, 43-42.

The second half opened with a 3-point exhibition as Upper Iowa hit five shots from beyond the arc in the first three and half minutes of the period. Lenhart hit back-to-back three's to open the half and give Upper Iowa the lead. Jimmy Roth followed with a pair trifectas and a Jernell Hughes three. UIU stretched its lead to double digits by the 12:31 mark. St. Cloud State had cut the deficit down to six, 79-73, when Connor Schabel rattled off 10 points in a minute and 44 seconds, pushing the Peacocks lead back to 15. The Peacocks went on to score a season-high 104 points in the win.

UIU was led by Hughes for the third straight game and fifth time in the last six, with 22 points. Roth added 20, while Lenhart poured in 17 points and a team-leading seven points. Schabel finished the game with a career-high 12 points.

UIU will finish off a four-game homestand next weekend with a pair of games against Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State on Feb. 12-13.
