Biography
2016-17: Played in and started all 33 games, averaging 25.9 minutes per game... finished third on the team in scoring with 11.8 points per contest, shooting 45.8% from the floor and 32.1% from distance... made 179 trips to the foul line, good for fourth in the NSIC... averaged 3.5 rebounds per game, hauling in 116 boards... totaled 64 assists, 6 blocks, and 28 steals... scored in double figures 21 times, including hitting the 20-point plateau on four occasions... scored a career-best 27 points against Quincy on Nov. 15... tallied a season-best eight rebounds against Sioux Falls on Dec. 3... dished out a season-best five assists twice... finished with 1,408 points, good for 8th all-time in program history.
2015-16: Played in all 33 games, making 32 starts, averaging 25.0 minutes per contest... led the team in scoring with 13.3 points per game, shooting 46.0% from the field and 36.5% from distance... averaged 4.8 rebounds per game, totaling 158 boards on the season... became the 23rd member of the 1,000-point club in the quarterfinal round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament... tallied 65 assists, blocked 20 shots, and recorded 24 steals... made 196 trips to the free throw line, making 126... reached double figures in points 24 times, including 9 times in the last 10 games of the season... scored at least 20 points six times... tallied a season-best 24 points three times, vs. Northern State on Jan. 3, at U-Mary on Jan. 16, and vs. MSU Moorhead in the conference quarterfinals... tallied a career-high 10 rebounds twice, at Winona State on Dec. 19 and vs. St. Cloud State in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament.
2014-15: Made 16 starts and played in 28 games... averaged 9.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game... scored in double figures in 13 games and had a pair of 20 point games... scored a season-best 22 points at Augustana on Jan. 24... pulled down 9 rebounds at Minnesota State on Feb. 14... shot 43.8% from the floor, 35.5% from three and 65% from the free throw line.
2013-14: Played in 30 games, starting 27 of them... averaged 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game... finished the year fourth on the team in scoring, assists, rebounds and steals... scored in double-digits 13 times, including a career-high 19 against St. Cloud State on Feb. 15.
High School: As a junior, Roth led the Lions to a fourth-place finish in the State Tournament... collected Second-Team All-MVC and First-Team All-Metro honors... averaged 10.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
