Box Score The Peacocks started a stretch of three straight games against ranked opponents with a 90-75 loss to No. 15 Western Washington on Saturday afternoon in Anaheim, California. UIU had a two point halftime lead quickly evaporate early in the second half as Western Washington shot 58.6% in the final 20 minutes. The Peacocks fell to 0-2 on the year, while the Vikings improved to 2-0.

The first half saw the Peacocks get to the free throw line and convert, knocking down 14-of-17 from the charity stripe after shooting just 7-of-14 in the loss the Alaska Anchorage on Friday night. UIU used a 7-3 run in the final two minutes of the opening half to take a 44-42 lead into the halftime break.

 The Vikings opened the second half with a 14-2 run to take a 10 point lead early in the second half.
Luke Lenhart tried to shoot the Peacocks back into the game as he sandwiched a pair of three's around an
Elliot Kane three and Upper Iowa pulled within three points at 58-55 with 12:45 remaining in the game.

Western Washington responded with a couple trifectas of its own and used another 10-0 run to take a 13 point lead, 68-55, with just over 10 minutes left.

Over the final eight minutes, the Vikings shot 7-of-10 from the floor to keep the game out of reach as they outscored Upper Iowa 21-12.

Eleven different Peacocks scored in the game, led by Lenhart with 18 points. The junior from Storm Lake, Iowa, was 5-of-11 on the day and 4-of-6 from three point range.
Josh Weeber had 13 points and was the only other Peacock in double figures, doing the majority of his damage at the free throw line where he was 7-for-7.

Upper Iowa will play its final game of the CCA Tip-Off Classic against California Baptist in Carson, California, on the campus of the University of California-Dominguez Hills. The game will tip at 10:30 p.m.
