Upper Iowa struggled from behind the arc in the game hitting just 6 of their 25 long range shots, while UW-Parkside made 8 of their 15 three-point attempts. The Peacocks did shoot well inside the arc converting 50% (14-28) of their two-point field goals.

Parkside jumped on their guests early, 12-4, but UIU erased the deficit in just three minutes thanks to a 9-0 run. Four different Peacocks scored during the run highlighted by a trifecta from Laura TerHark.

UIU stretched their lead to three points, 17-14, with seven minutes to play in the half, but UWP closed out the half outscoring the Peacocks 15-8 taking a four-point lead to the locker room at halftime.

Upper Iowa wasted little time retaking the lead in the second half. Over the first five minutes, the Peacocks got back to a three-point advantage, 36-33, fueled by a 12-4 run led by seven points from Whitney Kieffer.

A three-pointer from Olivia Meier at the 11:27 mark gave UIU a four-point lead, 41-37. Over the final eleven minutes, the Rangers caught fire on offense scoring 28 points, while holding the Peaocks to just 14.

The final tie of the evening, 43-43, came with 10:04 on the clock when Ashlee Bailey dropped in a jumper. The Rangers built their lead to 13 points, 65-52, at its largest point.

One final three-pointer from Lauren Buck, who netted eight of her ten points in the final four and a half minutes, pulled the final gap to ten points, 65-55.
