GREENWOOD, Ind. - Bryar Duwe, Ellie Foster, Sydnee Nelson and Ava Privet were recognized on Tuesday on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic-All District® Team for women's basketball.
With the four players honored, the Peacock women's basketball team reached the maximum number of honorees per program. The CSC Academic All-America® Teams will be announced on Wednesday, April 15.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically while accumulating a 3.50 grade point average or above. For women's basketball, eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games player or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

- Had nine double-digit scoring games this season

- Started all 29 games for UIU this season while averaging 14.9 points, four rebounds. 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game
- Tied for the 11th-most points in a season in program history at 431
- Made the most 3-pointers in a season in program history with 81
- Led the GLVC in 3-pointers made and ranked 10th nationally
- Had a 40.3% 3-point percentage, ranking third in the conference and 11th nationally
#22 Sydnee Nelson (G, 5-3, Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn. / Park HS)

- Averaged 5.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and a team-high four assists per game
- Recorded the eighth-most assists in a season in program history with 115
- Ranked third in the GLVC in assists and assists per game
- Had a career-high 10 assists vs. Quincy (Ill.), tying for the eighth-most in program history
- Also scored a season-high 20 points against the Hawks for a double-double

- Shot 93.4% from the free-throw line, the fourth-best mark in program history
