Peacock women's basketball is hosting four camps in Dorman Memorial Gymnasium this summer.
The Youth Camp will be held on June 11-12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is open to 2nd through 8th graders. This is a fun, energetic camp focused on teaching the fundamentals of basketball while creating a positive and engaging environment for young athletes.
The Elite Camp will take place the following day, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., for 9th through 12th graders. This is a competitive camp designed to help high school athletes develop their skill set and compete at a higher level. Following the camp, an optional campus tour of Upper Iowa will be conducted.
The Skills Camps will be held throughout the Summer on August 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, and 26 from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. for 8th through 12th graders. These are focused on skill development sessions emphasizing individual improvement, fundamentals and game situations.
The August Elite Camp will take place on Saturday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for 9th through 12th graders. This is a high-level competitive camp designed for advanced high school athletes looking to challenge themselves and be evaluated in a college environment.
