INDIANAPOLIS - Haylie Hutchinson earned Upper Iowa women's soccer's first GLVC Offensive Player of the Week award after her one-goal, two-assist performance on the weekend. The senior forward was involved in all three of UIU's goals on the weekend to help the Peacocks force draws against Roosevelt (Ill.) and Southwest Minnesota State.
She becomes the second player to earn a GLVC weekly honor for the program, joining teammate Sienna Johnson last season on Sept. 15, 2025.
Hutchinson scored the game-tying goal against Roosevelt on Thursday for the 1-1 draw. She also added an assist in each game this weekend on goals by teammate Maryn Hudson.
Upper Iowa starts GLVC play this week in Rolla, Missouri, on Friday against Missouri S&T (1-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
