INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced 222 Peacock student-athletes were awarded with 2025-26 Academic All-GLVC honors. That number ties 2024-25 for the most since Upper Iowa joined the GLVC. 

The award goes to student-athletes who had a 3.30 cumulative grade point average for the 2025-26 academic year. Eight Peacock programs posted or tied their highest total of recipients since joining the GLVC (men's basketball, women's cross country, men's golf, women's golf, women's soccer, women's track & field, volleyball, women's wrestling). 

Of the 222 student-athletes, the Peacocks had 57 three-time selections (denoted with **), 63 two-time selections (denoted with *) and 102 first-time selections. 

The GLVC revealed that 4,768 total student-athletes garnered Academic All-GLVC distinction from the conference. Not counting the 132 honorees from the league's 13 associate members, the 4,636 honorees from 15 full-time GLVC members averaged out to a record 309 selections per school. Over the course of the last five years, the per-school averages have been 285.7 (2024-25), 279.6 (2023-24), 256 (2022-23), 250.1 (2021-22) and 257.5 (2020-21).
