LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Chargers announced the signing of former Upper Iowa football wide receiver Mante Morrow as an undrafted free agent on Thursday.
"I couldn't be more proud," said Upper Iowa head football coach Jason Hoskins. "Mante has always been humble but confident in his abilities. He has accomplished everything he has set out to achieve since arriving at Upper Iowa. There's no one more deserving of this opportunity."
Morrow finished his career with the Peacocks totaling 2,371 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns. He recorded the sixth-most receiving yards and second-most receiving touchdowns in program history.
This past season, Morrow totaled 1,007 yards, marking the third 1,000-yard season in program history. His 12 touchdowns in 2025 were the third-most in program history and the most by a Peacock receiver in a single season since 2004.
During his career, Morrow was a two-time All-GLVC First Team selection with an All-GLVC Second Team selection in 2024. This past season, he was named a Don Hansen All-American Honorable Mention, D2Football Elite 100, a Harlon Hill Trophy Nominee and D2CCA All-Super Region Three First Team.
The Joliet, Illinois native joins Lucas Hefty and Cole Jaeschke as former Peacocks to participate with NFL teams. Hefty was invited to a Minnesota Vikings camp, and Jaeschke was featured on the NFL's "Undrafted" series with the Carolina Panthers in 2015.
The Chargers begin Voluntary Organized Team Activities (OTAs) on May 26 with practices through June 11. The team will hold a mandatory minicamp June 16-18. Training camp information will be released at a later date.
