EARLY LEAGUE STANDINGS
In the conference standings, Lewis holds a 14-2 mark (.875 win percentage) to pace all teams. Illinois Springfield follows with a 10-5 record (.667 win percentage), tied with Drury, who also has a 10-5 record. Indianapolis is fourth with a 7-4 league record (.636 win percentage). Upper Iowa follows behind in fifth at 10-6 (.667 win percentage), while Missouri S&T holds a 9-7 record (.562 win percentage), and Rockhurst, Maryville, and Quincy are all tied at 6-6 (.500 win percentage).

ON THE RIGHT TRACK
Peacock baseball has already surpassed its win total from the 2024 season, securing 14 victories compared to last year's 13. With a month still remaining, they have the opportunity to significantly increase that mark. The Peacocks have reached the 19-win threshold three times since 2017, including in 2023.

MAKING GOOD CONTACT
Senior Ethan Sawyer is tied for 6th in the GLVC for total hits with 40. The second baseman is hitting .333 this season with eight doubles, one triple and one home run. For his career, he has tallied 189 hits.

CHASING THE HOME RUN RECORD
Graduate student Gunnar Wicklund currently leads the GLVC with 12 home runs on the season. He is just two shy of Upper Iowa's all-time record of 14, set by Jared Jones in 2000. Wicklund notched 12 home runs last campaign, sitting at 24 for his Peacock career. He has recorded 32 hits with a .368 batting average in 2025.

ON DECK
UIU is set to play Viterbo on April 8 in Fayette in a non-conference affair. The action will begin at 2 p.m. at Robertson Woods Field.
