Upper Iowa opened the Spring season by taking 13th place at the NSIC Preview with a team score of 698 (+122).
 
Fifth year Katie Schweers led the way for the Peacocks, as she posted a 167 (+23) score to take 34th place. She hit one birdie on day one before following that up with three birdies on day two. Senior Delaney Martin placed 64th overall with a score of 177 (+33). Her meet was highlighted by back-to-back birdies which came on holes nine and ten on day one. Senior Lizzy Ellis and junior Brynn Bonefas each tied for 67th as they recorded scores of 178 (+34). Freshman Addison Weber added a 71st place finish with a 180 (+36) score. She hit two birdies on the opening day, before recording one birdie on day two.
 
Augustana came in first place with a 626 (+50) score. Wayne State finished in second with a score of 630 (+54) and Minnesota State rounded out the top three with a 635 (+59) score.
 
Both the men and women's teams will compete at the UIU Invite on Saturday, Apr. 5 through Sunday, Apr. 6 with the meet starting at 10 a.m. on both days. The UIU Invite will be held in Waterloo, Iowa at the Sunnyside Country Club.
