Upper Iowa football has finalized its schedule for the fall of 2025, including 11 contests, five at home. The season opener is set for August 28 against Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. Drake, a Division I NCAA program, is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference whose football program competes in the Pioneer League. 
 
"We are excited about our upcoming 2025 schedule," said Head Coach Jason Hoskins. "We get to start with an in-state opponent when we travel to Drake on Aug. 28^th.  It should be fun for the many alums in the Des Moines area to see us on the road."
 
The Peacocks have a rematch with non-conference opponent South Dakota School of Mines in their second game of the campaign for their home opener on Sep. 13.
 
"We play two good non-conference opponents following the Drake opener," noted Hoskins. "We'll play South Dakota School of Mines at home and head to Michigan Tech on the road the following week."
 
Conference action ignites on Sep. 27 in Fayette against Lincoln, which is marked as UIU's homecoming game. The remaining home contests are on Oct. 18 (Southwest Baptist), Nov. 1 (McKendree) and Nov. 8 (Quincy).
 
"We'll open up our third season in the GLVC with a home game against Lincoln, which will also be our homecoming game," said Hoskins. "We are eager to get back into conference play and see if we can improve our tie for second place in 2024.  We are looking forward to a competitive fall!
