INDIANAPOLIS - Upper Iowa's Ellie Foster earned the GLVC Player of the Week award after averaging 22 points this past week, including 19 points in the home-opener victory over Winona State (Minn.).
Foster scored a career-high 25 points in Saturday's game vs. Augustana (S.D.). She shot 8-of-16 from the field in both games for a total shooting percentage of 50%.
This marks the first career Player of the Week award for the Peacock graduate student. She's the first selection for the Peacocks since Mia Huberty on Dec. 9, 2024.
The Peacocks are in action on Monday at 2 p.m. against Clarke in Dorman Memorial Gymnasium. UIU starts GLVC play after Thanksgiving at Quincy (Ill.) on Dec. 1.

- Played 36+ minutes in both games and shot 100% from the free-throw line
