This week's Yoga Genesis Athletes of the Week honorees are Dalton Schams (men's wrestling) and Noah King (men's basketball).

Men's wrestling trumped seventh-ranked McKendree in an 18-15 decision last Friday. This was the second time these two teams have gone head-to-head after the Bearcats defeated the Peacocks 21-18 at the NWCA National Duals in early January. Schams picked up a momentous win, defeating James Hoskinson in a nail-biting finish. The 157-pounder recorded a takedown in the final seconds after an official review and finished on top in a 4-1 decision.

Peacock men's basketball picked up two wins at home this past weekend, topping Rockhurst 84-71 and William Jewell 77-55. They stand alone in second place in the GLVC regular season standings with an 8-3 league record. King averaged 17 points over the two games, including a double-double performance in the win against Rockhurst with 14 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 40% from the field, added two assists and one steal, and did not commit a single turnover.
