Toyia Griffin started the day with a win by fall as she took down Danyia Werner of Buena Vista in 1:13. She followed that up with a 10-0 tech fall victory against Sifa Feruzi of Illinois Wesleyan, to advance to the semifinals. She fought hard in her final two matches, but her opponents each won by decision as Griffin finished in sixth place with 11.5 team points.
Bentley Hills added a sixth-place finish, as she closed out the competition with a tech fall defeat to Lainey Shelangoski of Wartburg in the fifth place match.
