STRENGTH IN THE NET… Junior
JJ Gonzalez-Hayes has appeared in four of UIU's five games on the season, and is coming off a career-high ten save performance against Indianapolis. He has recorded an average of 5.00 saves per game which ranks second in the GLVC while adding a save percentage of 71.4%.
EARLY SEASON HIGHLIGHTS… Senior
Daniel Pranger and junior
Emir Basar have each recorded one goal and one assist on the season with Basar scoring his first Peacock goal against St. Cloud State and Pranger scoring the game-tying goal in the final minutes against Roosevelt. Junior

Thomas Walle recorded the opening goal in UIU's draw with Lewis. Fifth year

Alejandro Sanchez join Pranger and Basar as the only Peacocks to start every game, with Adachi garnered an assist in the season opener against Roosevelt.
BATTLING THE BULLDOGS… Truman State has gone 1-3-1 to start the year with an 0-2-1 record in the GLVC. They defeated St. Cloud State in their season opener and are coming off a 0-0 tie to McKendree. Senior Justin Olwig has started all five games in the net and he has recorded an 80.8% save percentage with 21 saves, while ranking third in the conference with two shutouts. Sophomore Daniel Riazi has scored Truman State's only goal of the season coming off the bench against SCSU and junior Caden Hoehns has appeared in all 90 minutes of every game this season.
HIGHLIGHTING THE HAWKS… Quincy has recorded a 1-4-1 mark where they defeated the #8 team in the nation, Purdue Northwest, by a score of 2-1. Junior Paal Vistnes leads the team with two goals scored and freshman Mathias Bringedal leads Quincy with two assists while both players have started every game. Freshman Leo Cann and sophomore Carter Venvertloh round out Quincy's goal scorers with both players picking up one goal. Sophomore George Roke has thrived in the net as he leads the GLVC with 45 saves for an average of 7.50 per game while also posting the highest save percentage in the conference at 81.8%.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS… Upper Iowa will travel to Missouri for the second time this season for consecutive road games. The Peacocks take on Rockhurst on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and William Jewell on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m.
