This year's first Yoga Genesis Peacocks of the Week honorees are Zoe Semelroth of volleyball and RJ Wells from football.
 
The Peacock volleyball team went 2-2 at the  Maverick Invite this past weekend, with five more games on tap for this week. Zoe Semelroth recorded her career-high of 24 kills in the team's win over UW Parkside. She tallied 71 kills and recorded a .504 hitting percentage across the four games. In their opening match, she put down 13 kills of 18 attempts, good for a season-high .611 hitting percentage. The Tripoli, Iowa native nears the 1,000-kills mark as she has totaled 942 in her career.
 
Wells aided the football team in their victory over Concordia, St. Paul in their home opener, defeating them 33-7. The running back rushed for a team-high 108 yards, with an average of 7.2 yards per rush. Wells also recorded a receiving touchdown with four total receptions throughout the game. 
 
Volleyball competes tonight at 6 p.m. against Winona State and football meets with South Dakota Mines in Rapid City, S.D on Saturday at 1 p.m.
