A pair of Peacock volleyball student-athletes,
Martha Pace and
Alexis Moses, are competing with the USA D-2 Volleyball Team on a Brazil Tour. Maddie Rettler (2024 graduate) and current teammate
Zoe Semelroth were the last ones to compete on the prestigious team in the summer of 2022.
Pace appeared in 26 matches and made 12 starts while recording 147 kills this season. She finished third on the team with 39 blocks and dded 62 digs. Pace amassed a season-high 14 kills against Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Moses made an appearance in 28 matches, making 26 starts in her debut campaign as a Peacock. The Fairfax, Iowa native recorded 147 kills and finished second on the team with 59 blocks. She added 43 digs and seven service aces, while recording a season-high nine kills against Truman State and Missouri S&T.
The USA D-2 Volleyball Team are invited NCAA Division II women's players from across the country. This team is comprised of players recognized nationally, regionally and by their Conferences.
The team is made up of nine players representing five different colleges and universities and come from 7 different home states.

"Many of the players on this year's USA D-2 / One World Outreach Volleyball Team - Brazil Tour had great individual seasons and led their teams into post season play." "This tour is designed to expose players to a great volleyball experience while providing a once in a lifetime opportunity for educational, cultural and social growth."
The USA D-2 / One World Outreach Volleyball Team tour will run from May 13 through May 22. The team will begin with orientation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on May 13th before the team departs for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that evening. The team will practice on May 14th before a match on May 15th or 16th versus professional and club teams. In Rio the teams will be a part of an "International Challenge" on Saturday, May 18th. The USA team will play a 3-match round robin versus Flamengo, Fluminense and Barra Mansa Volie Clube.
While in Brazil the team will experience educational, cultural and social aspects of Brazilian life through city, school and sports club visits. While in Rio the team will be staying on the famous Copacabana Beach (location for the 2016 Rio Olympic Beach Volleyball Stadium) and touring the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain, two of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. The team will visit the popular international market in Ipanema and Ipanema Beach.
