Sarah Stevelinck has circled back to the Peacock volleyball program as the Assistant Volleyball Coach, joining Head Coach
Aaron Nelson on the sidelines. She was a part of the Upper Iowa volleyball team as a libero from 2020-22.
Stevelinck appeared in 49 matches with the Peacocks, playing in 166 sets during her UIU career. She made six starts as a defensive specialist, accumulating 348 digs for an average of 2.10 per set. Stevelinck finished third on the team with an average of 2.22 digs per set in 2021 and she recorded a career-high 15 digs three times on the season. She added 32 service aces and recorded 36 assists.
Off the court, Stevelinck was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and was honored as the Myles Brand All-Academic Distinction Award Winner in 2022. A native of Lyons, Colo., Stevelinck graduated from Upper Iowa with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports studies and a master's degree in sports administration.Â

Peacock volleyball is coming off an 11-17 season with a mark in the 6-8 GLVC. UIU concluded their 2023 campaign with a berth to the GLVC Championship Tournament. The squad will return two all-conference honorees;
Zoe Semelroth and
Nicole Pozorski.
