The Peacocks opened the Sioux Center Dome Tournament with a double header against St. Cloud State and their perfect 3-0 record. The Peacocks were able to hand the Huskies their first loss in a 2-1 victory in Game 1 and St. Cloud State would win game two in a hard fought 4-3 matchup.
Game One
The first inning was highlighted by a great defensive play by UIU, where they caught the runner stealing home to end the inning. Senior
Delaney Vetter struck out two batters swinging in the second, and would record her third strikeout in the third, to keep the game tied at 0-0. Sophomore
Serah Shafer singled to center field at the top of the fourth inning and continued her streak of successfully stealing her sixth base in a row, as she stole second. Senior
Rae VanMilligan advanced Shafer to third on a single to right field and a pop fly by senior
Laila Pelds would lead to Shafer scoring the first run of the game, and sixth on the season.

Vetter recorded a perfect three up, three down inning in the fourth where she added her fourth strikeout on the day. St. Cloud State didn't record a hit till the fifth inning, where Reese Holtzheuter launched a home run over the center field wall to tie the game at 1-1. Sophomore
Taylor Sedam opened the seventh inning with a single to second base and advanced to second on a grounder by senior
Hannah Bridgewater. Faced with two outs, sophomore
Kylie Doty hit a single to second base and Sedam scored on the play to give the Peacocks a 2-1 lead. The Peacocks forced two quick outs at the bottom of the seventh, before the Huskies recorded their second hit of the day on a double to left field. With a runner in scoring position, Vetter struck out the final better swinging, finishing her complete game with nine strikeouts.
Game Two
Senior
Ari Charles opened game two with a double to right field and VanMilligan added a single to the shortstop. The Huskies were able to force a groundout to end the inning and a would find themselves with a great opportunity to take an early lead with runners on second and third at the top of the second. Senior
Abby Buckman ended the inning with a strikeout that kept the game tied at 0-0. St. Cloud State singled on a bunt to start the third and a double to center field by Holly Weinberger would give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Maggie Fitzgerald would hit a homer to center field, to complete a three-run inning.

Charles singled to the right side of the field to start the bottom of the third and reached second on a steal. Senior
Alli Schaffer advanced Charles to third before the Huskies would force two outs in a row. Pelds hit her eighth RBI on the year as she singled to left field which advanced Charles home. After scoring the game-winning run in the previous game, Sedam recorded a single to center field and Pelds was able to score on an error to make it a 3-2 game. Junior
Reagan Church was able to tie the game for UIU at the bottom of the fourth as she smacked a home run over the left field wall.

St. Cloud State was able to take the lead at the top of the 5th on Holzheuter's second home run of the day. Charles hit a single at the bottom of the sixth, and was able to steal second once again. Schaffer hit a grounder that advanced Charles to third but the Huskies forced a ground out to end the inning. The Peacocks forced three quick outs in the sixth and seventh innings but were unable to complete their comeback as the Huskies achieved a 4-3 win. UIU recorded 11 hits as a team, highlighted by
Ari Charles recording a perfect four hits on four at bats.
