GLVC'S GREATEST SCORER… Senior
Mia Huberty has recorded a conference-leading 21.6 points per game, surpassing the second-place athlete by an average of 3.6 more points per game. She has posted the sixth-most efficient shooting percentage in the conference at 48.7% while converting 42.9% of her shots from three. There have been nine 28+ point performances in the GLVC this season, and four have come from Huberty. She is coming off a 28-point game against Lake Superior State and she scored 28-points in her last GLVC match against Lincoln on 10-22 shooting. Huberty also put together a 38-point performance against Quincy on 15-29 shooting which is the highest-scoring game by any GLVC player this season. She has also recorded 6.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, which both rank within the top-15 in the conference.
FRONTCOURT PHENOMS… Fifth year
Kayla Bohr is averaging 10.5 points per game, and she has shot 16-17 at the free throw line (94.1%). Bohr has scored in double figures four times this season, scoring a career-high 22 points on 5-7 three-point shooting against Winona State. Senior
Helen Staley has scored 7.4 points per game while shooting 49.1% from the field. She has hauled in a team-high 8.1 rebounds per game which ranks eighth in the conference, and she is coming off a 14-point game on 6-7 shooting against Lake Superior State. Staley has recorded two blocks in UIU's past three games and she ranks fourth in the GLVC with an average of 1.2 blocks per game.
BACKCOURT SNIPERS… Sophomore
Ava Privet has recorded 7.9 points per game, and she has shot 34.7% from three-point range. She scored in double figures in two of the Peacocks last four games, and she opened the season with a career-high 20-point performance against Augustana. Freshman
Lindsey Davis has thrived in her sixth man role where she is averaging 7.7 points per game while converting 43.5% of her shots from beyond the arc (10-23). Davis opened the GLVC season with 16-points on 5-11 shooting against Quincy and she added another 16-point performance against Judson where she shot a perfect 4-4 from three.
PEACOCK SEASON HIGHS…
TAKING ON THE TRITONS… Missouri-St. Louis has posted the second-best overall record in the GLVC at 9-2 and have gone 3-1 in conference action. Junior Alex Wolff has recorded a team-high 12.6 points per game, and she has scored double figures in her previous six matches. Her season was highlighted by a 24-point performance on 10-13 shooting against Illinois Springfield and she is currently shooting 54.1% from the floor. Wolff has hauled in an average of 5.4 rebounds she leads the team with 1.0 blocks per game. Junior Morgan Ramthun has scored 9.5 points per game on 48.2% shooting, and she has recorded the third-most rebounds in the conference at 9.5 per game. Ramthun grabbed a season-high 15 boards against UHSP, and she added a 12-point, 14-rebound performance against Maryville. Freshman Katie Hamill and fifth year Kate Rolfes are each averaging 11.6 points per game with Hamill shooting 46.1% from the floor and Rolfes shooting 41.3% from beyond the arc.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS… Maryville has opened the season at 4-8, while recording a 2-2 mark in the GLVC. Senior Gracie Stugart has thrived on both ends of the floor as she leads the team with 11.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game. Stugart also leads the GLVC with 7.8 assists per game, and she has dished out 42 more assists than the second-place player. She has posted two double-doubles on the season, scoring 12 points with 13 assists against Concordia-St. Paul and 16 points with 10 rebounds against Eckerd. Fifth year Claire Rake is averaging 10.7 points per game on 32.0% shooting from three. Rake recorded her season-high performance against Indianapolis, dropping 19 points on 6-10 shooting from three-point range.
