The Peacocks and the Lakers faced off earlier this season in the Midwest Region Crossover in Springfield, Ill. Upper Iowa put on an offensive clinic and clinched a 105-78 victory over Roosevelt the first time the teams met.
Nick Reid recorded a double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds.
Gavin Hershberger followed right behind with 19 points and six assists.

The Peacocks shot 52.6% for the game, going 41-78 from the field and 9-28 (32%) from long distance. The Lakers netted 39.8% (33-83) from the floor and went 2-12 beyond the arc.Â

ABOUT THE LAKERS
Roosevelt enters this week's game at 3-6 on the year and 0-2 in the GLIAC. They picked up a win over Marian (Ind.) in their most recent matchup, 78-63, but fell to a pair of ranked teams before that contest. The Lakers dropped to No. 10 Lake Superior State 79-77 and No. 6 Ferris State 95-72.Â

RU has versed three GLVC teams this season, including Upper Iowa. Roosevelt fell to Springfield 93-76 in the Midwest Region Crossover and later to Indianapolis 65-48.Â

The team is led in scoring by Forte Prater, who averages 22.1 points per game. Enari Thomas is also in double figures with 16.9 per contest. Ramean Hinton and Kennedy Brown haul in 9.5 and 8.4 rebounds, respectively.
