This week's Yoga Genesis Peacocks of the Week honors belong to a trio of winter sport student-athletes. Brooke Evenson of women's basketball, Nick Reid of men's basketball and Chase Luensman of men's wrestling share this week's recognition.

The women's basketball team went 1-1 last weekend with an 84-75 win over McKendree, who was undefeated in conference play and had won nine-straight games prior to their contest with the Peacocks. Evenson recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds to help down the Bearcats. After the game against Lewis on Saturday, she averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and added two blocks for the weekend.

Reid aided the men's basketball team to a 2-0 outing last weekend with wins over McKendree (97-83) and Lewis (80-70). The senior forward averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and recorded four blocks over the two games. He netted 13-13 from the charity stripe while shooting 11-25 (44%) from the field.

Luensman helped pace the Peacocks to an eighth-place finish at the NWCA National Duals this past weekend in Cedar Falls. The team was unseeded going into the tournament, but battled against tough competition and pulled off an eighth-place finish for the 14^th time in the past 16 years. Luensman went 4-0 at the event with a win over No. 8 Hunter Jump (Central Oklahoma) on the first day of competition. His other three wins were all picked up by decision.
