The Peacocks wrapped up their weekend with a 3-0 loss to Quincy University. They dropped to 5-8 (1-2 GLVC) on the season, while the Hawks improved to 14-1 (4-0 GLVC) for the year.
Despite how close the sets were, Upper Iowa was unable to top the execution by Quincy. The scores were 25-20, 25-22 and 25-22.
Zoe Semelroth led the team with 15 kills, while the Hawks were paced by Emma Wijnbergen who recorded 12.
Nicole Pozorski dished out 30 assists and Brianna Merkel from QU tallied 43.
Kaci Beesecker registered 16 digs, while Susanna Beretti contributed 10.
After four straight weeks of road games, the Peacocks host two matches in Dorman Memorial Gymnasium next weekend. They welcome Drury University on Friday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. and Southwest Baptist on Saturday at 7 p.m.
