PEACOCKS PREVIEW… The Peacocks are coming off a homestand where they defeated William Jewell 4-1 before falling to Rockhurst 1-0 two days later. UIU is now 5-4-2 and are the nine-seed in the GLVC standings. Sophomore midfielder
Mateo Rodriguez continue his dominance in the Peacocks victory over William Jewell, assisting on the first two goals of the game, before scoring the third goal. He has five goals and six assists on the season, and his 16 points leads the GLVC. Sophomore midfielder
Wilmer Canales has played a bigger role for the Peacocks recently, earning a few starts while scoring twice in their previous four games. Graduate midfielder
Daigo Adachi scored his first goal of the season against William Jewell and he has recorded six assists this season which is the second highest in the GLVC. Freshman midfielder
Preston Price has scored twice in the past three games for the Peacocks, giving him three goals on the season. Despite the fact that he missed a game, sophomore defender
Dexter Garrett leads the team in minutes with 855 with senior midfielder

JJ Gonzalez-Hayes is coming off a solid homestand where he allowed two goals in two games, recording seven saves.
TEST FROM THE TRITONS… Missouri-St. Louis has started the season 2-5-2 and are currently on a five-game losing streak. Junior goalkeeper Austin Reis has played all 90 minutes in every game this season allowing 11 goals and making 35 saves. He has amassed a save percentage of 76.1 which ranks sixth in the GLVC. Reis recorded back-to-back shutouts in the Tritons first two conference games and has never allowed more than two goals in a game this season. A duo of juniors have led the way in the Tritons scoring efforts. Forward Devin Livingstone and defender Luca Saewe have scored three goals each, while senior forward Ty Gordon has added two goals of his own. Senior Bobby Boone is the only member of the team with two assists and he scored his lone goal of the season in the conference opener against William Jewell.
BOUT WITH THE BEARCATS… McKendree has had a much better start to the season, accumulating a record of 6-1-4. Freshman goalkeeper Christian Herluf has had a sensational start to his collegiate career allowing only seven goals while making 19 saves. He has played every second of every match and has recorded the third most shutouts in the GLVC with five. Eleven different Bearcats have scored this season with no one having more than two goals on the year. Sophomore defender Rhys Davies scored back-to-back times in the first two games of the season and he is tied for most assists on the team with three. He is joined by senior defender Matteo Schubert in the three-assist club, who also scored in McKendree's victory over Missouri-St. Louis. Freshman midfielder Jay Sangha has only started in half the games this season, but that has not stopped him from getting two goals and two assists on the year. The Bearcats defensive line has been anchored by graduate Michael Hodgson who has appeared in all 990 minutes this season.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS… The Peacocks will have their hands full in their final homestand as they play undefeated Indianapolis and 5-2-3 Lewis University. UIU will go up against Indianapolis on Friday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. before facing Lewis on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2:30 p.m.
