The Upper Iowa Athletics Department is set to host the 27^th Annual Peacock Golf Classic on Friday, June 10, at Big Rock Country Club in Fayette.
 
The four-person, best ball tournament is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Participants receive 18-holes of golf with a cart, a Nike Dri-FIT shirt, sit-down lunch, complimentary beverages (beer, pop, & water), snacks, as well as the opportunity to win raffle and hole contest prizes throughout the day.

In its 27th year, the Peacock Golf Classic has grown into the largest social event for the department bringing together alumni, fans and sponsors from all over. It is the perfect opportunity to return to Fayette for a fun day of golf and Peacock camaraderie while also supporting our 23 sport programs and 500+ student-athletes.
 
"The Peacock Classic is always one of the best days of the year as we come together in support of our student-athletes," stated Vice President for Athletics Rick Hartzell. "It's great to see the tremendous support from our campus, community, alumni, and friends. In addition, the funds raised are essential in providing our coaches with the necessary resources to enhance their programs and the student-athlete experience."
