Upper Iowa women's soccer team traveled to Beaver territory for their second NSIC matchup of the weekend. The Peacocks fell by a score of 3-0. Bemidji State improves their overall record to 7-2-4 and 6-1-3 in the conference. Upper Iowa shifted to 2-8-3 (1-5-3 NSIC) for the season.
The match was scoreless until the 26th minute when the Beavers netted their first goal. Using that momentum, they converted their second score of the game just six minutes later. Bemidji maintained their 2-0 lead going into halftime. Their third and final goal came at the 53:07 mark after stepping up and executing a penalty.
Upper Iowa was outshot by the Beavers 24-4. The Peacocks saw attempts from

With all the shot attempts being pitched her way, goalkeeper
Isabelle Wagner was able to pull down eight saves in the contest.
Up next, the Peacocks host two conference matches at home the following weekend. They face Northern State on Friday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m. Their next competitor is Minnesota State Moorhead, who they will battle on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
