Peacock women's soccer traveled to the University of Minnesota Crookston and suffered a 2-1 defeat. The Golden Eagles nabbed their first NSIC win of the season and improved their conference record to 1-8-0, while they moved to an overall mark of 2-10-0. The Peacocks shifted to a record of 2-7-3 (1-4-3 NSIC).

Minnesota Crookston wasted no time putting themselves on the scoreboard, as they netted a goal in the third minute of the match. In the midst of a scramble between both teams, Minnesota Crookston was able to sneak their first goal of the afternoon past Upper Iowa into the back of the net. 

An even battle between the two groups played out as it remained 1-0 in favor of the Golden Eagles until the end of the half. After the second 45 minute stint began, Upper Iowa was able to gain some zip as they scored in the 49th minute of the contest. Jordan Zarate executed for her second goal of the season.

The score remained tied 1-1 until ten minutes later when Minnesota Crookston found their second goal of the evening. They held their 2-1 lead for the entirety of the match. UIU outshot UMC 12-10. The Peacocks also had the advantage in corner kicks 5-2. 

Upper Iowa saw two keepers in the competition. Jamie Kerkvliet and Alena Miller each saw 45 minutes between posts. Together, they pulled down three saves for UIU. Minnesota Crookston's keeper grabbed eight saves in the match.
