Upper Iowa suffered a 3-2 loss for the second consecutive time on Sunday afternoon. After going down 2-0 early on, the Peacocks were able to tie things up at two with Northwood University. However, the Timberwolves scored the final goal of the day in the 81st minute to secure the win. Following the game, UIU moves to 0-2 while NWU goes to 1-1 on the year.

Amedeo Crovasce got Northwood's offense rolling in the first frame with a pair of goals, the second of which came on a penalty, in a 5:16 span. George Caudwelll assisted Corvasce on the initial score.

The Peacocks cut their deficit in half when Stan Cargill scored on the left side of the net after receiving a crisp pass off the foot of Tate Lofdahl at the 34:04 mark. The goal marked Cargill's second of the season and the third of his career.

UIU even things up at two in the 63rd minute when Frider Blunck, a freshman from Neumunster, Germany, scored from the top of the box. Lofdahl was there again to assist on the play.

Crovasce set the pace yet again for the TImberwolves finding an open teammate in Charlie Evans on the far side of the pitch who was able to score on the left side of the net putting NWU ahead 3-2 with 9:43 left to play. The Peacocks were unable to retaliate with a goal of their own thus ending the game at 3-2 in favor of Northwood.
