The Peacock men's indoor track and field team placed fifth at the Frigid Bee Invite hosted by St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa on Saturday. Upper Iowa scored 26 points in the seven-team field after claiming points in six events.

Upper Iowa was paced by a pair of third-place finishes from
Teddy Ayden and
Cameron Green. Ayden claimed third in the 60m dash with a time of 6.96 seconds, while Green ran his 400m race in a time of 52.39 seconds.
Deion Jones placed fifth in the 400 in a time of 52.48 seconds.

Ayden, Green and Jones teamed up with
Andrew Paskey in the 4x400m relay to place fourth in a time of 3:35.84.

David Snider and
Kai Bateman both placed seventh in their events to earn a pair of points apiece. Snider ran his 800m race in a time of 2:11.64, while Bateman recorded a high jump of 1.66 meters.

Upper Iowa will return to competition in 2022 with six events prior to the NSIC Indoor Championships in late February.
