The games involving the University of Sioux Falls and Upper Iowa University women's basketball teams scheduled for this Friday and Saturday will be pushed back a day to Jan. 9-10 to allow for CoVID-19 testing protocols, according to an announcement jointly made by the NSIC, Upper Iowa and Sioux Falls today.
Originally the games were set to be played at Dorman Memorial Gymnasium at Upper Iowa in Fayette, Iowa on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9.
With this change, the games will be played at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10 at Upper Iowa.
Upper Iowa went 1-1 in their opening weekend at St. Cloud State University, while the upcoming games will serve as the season openers for USF, which did not play University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D., due to Co-VID testing and contact tracing.
