The Upper Iowa baseball team and Head Coach Jeremy Ische announced a change to their 2020 home-opener. Because of field conditions, the games against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside will be moved to Prospect Meadows in Marion, Iowa. All four games will still be played, but now the series will consist of a pair of double headers on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 7-8 instead of being spread out over three days.
The games will take place on Perfect Game Field with each double header beginning at 12 p.m. The teams will play a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning contest each day with UIU remaining as the home team in all four matchups.
