The Northern Sun Conference handed out their weekly baseball award and Upper Iowa's Emmett Kulick is the NSIC Baseball Player of the Week. The award is Upper Iowa's tenth NSIC Player of the Week honor this year.

The senior returned to the Peacock lineup this week and hit .571 (8-14) with a 1.571 slugging percentage. Kulick drove in nine runs with a pair of doubles and four home runs and scored seven times. He posted a .684 on-base percentage thanks to his 8 hits and 5 walks. 

The Peacocks went 1-4 last week including a pair of two-run losses to Southwest Minnesota State. 

Upper Iowa will head to Minot State University for a Wednesday double header in Minot, N.D. The Peacocks and Beavers will start their two games at 12 p.m.
