The Upper Iowa baseball team will have to wait another week to open their 2019 campaign. The team's four games set for Tuesday and Wednesday have been canceled due to temperature and impending weather for Kansas. The games will not be made up.

The Peacocks were scheduled to face Emporia State University and Pittsburgh State University in Kansas on Tuesday and Wednesday, but will now hope to open the season on Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3 in Kirksville, Mo. Upper Iowa will take on Lewis University and Truman State University in a pair of non-conference double headers on Truman State's campus.
