The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released their annual Volleyball All-Conference Awards on Thursday afternoon, and a trio of Peacock seniors were named to the teams including Anna Winter (First Team), Haley Weepie (Second Team) and Carlee Ketchum (Second Team). Winter's honor is her third after earning second team honors in 2017 and first team accolades as a junior, while Weepie's honor was her second straight.

The All-NSIC Volleyball team is made up of 33 young ladies; 18 named to the first team and 15 to the second team.

Winter has tallied 264 kills (7th in NSIC) in her 62 sets against Northern Sun Conference opponents for a 4.26 kills per set average that ranks fourth in the league. In NSIC matches, Winter has hit .290 to rank among the conference's most efficient hitters. She has taken more attack attempts against NSIC opponents than any other hitter (711) while committing just 58 errors in the process. The junior from Rochester, Minn. has hit double figures in kills in all but two conference matches including a career-high 27 against then-ranked No. 22 St. Cloud State University. Winter has hit over .300 in nine of those matches and has recorded an average of nearly 17 kills in each of those games.

Weepie has accumulated 292 digs (8th in NSIC) against conference foes to rank seventh in the league with 4.71 digs per set. She has reached double figure digs in 15 NSIC matches including a season-high 24 against then-ranked No. 15 Wayne State College. More impressively, the senior from Fairbank, Iowa has averaged more than 6.00 digs per set seven times in NSIC play with her highest per set average being 7.67 against Minot State University. Along with her digs, Weepie was one of three Peacocks to notch double-digit aces with 10 total and finished second on the team with 57 assists.

Ketchum earned her first All-NSIC honor after stepping into the starting setter position for her senior campaign. The senior from Manchester, Iowa has tallied 674 assists and a 10.87 assist per set average against NSIC opponents to rank sixth in the conference in both categories. In addition to consistently running the Upper Iowa offense that ranks among the best in the conference, Ketchum has played a huge role in other areas as well. In NSIC matches alone, she has tallied the third-highest dig total on the team with 151 (2.44/set), the second-most aces with 14 (.23/set), and fourth-most blocks (23). Ketchum has also knocked down 54 kills in league action.

The three seniors along with the rest of the Peacock volleyball team are currently 19-7 overall (11-7 NSIC) and looking to claim a spot in the elite NSIC Tournament for the third season in a row. Upper Iowa will have two more chances to do so when No. 5 University of Minnesota Duluth and No. 9 St. Cloud State University come to town to close out the regular season.
