The Upper Iowa men's soccer team earned their second consecutive 0-0 draw against the Drury University Panthers in a weather shortened game. The game was delayed in the 83rd minute due to inclement weather and was called official nearly an hour into the delay. Any NCAA game that progresses past the 70th minute of play and is suspended will be considered official and the result at the time of the suspension will stand. The game was originally scheduled for a 7:30 kickoff but was pushed back to 5:30 in anticipation of the weather.
The Peacocks earned another hard-fought draw on the road and their second shutout of the season. The majority of the game was played within the midfield third and both sides seeing few scoring chances with the Panthers getting three shots on targets to the Peacocks two. Both goalkeepers were able to turn away every shot they faced as Upper Iowa's
Nikolai Gogol came up with 3 saves and posted his second clean sheet of the year.
The Peacocks offense was lead by sophomore
Tate Lofdahl who took two shots and getting one shot on goal. Also contributing to the attack was
Seth Russell who had one shot on target and
Italo Martins Soares and
Joaquin Alonso taking one shot each.
