Biography

2019: Played in 12 games, started 11 ... was second on the team with five points ... scored two goals on seven shots with four on goal for team-highs in shot percentage: 28.6% and shot-on-goal percentage: 57.1% ... tallied one assist.

2018: 2nd Team All-MIAA. Started all 14 games he appeared in during the 2018 season. Scored 1 goal on 15 shots. 

2017: 1st Team All-MIAA. Played in 16 games, making 14 starts. Russell took 9 shots, with 3 being on target, found the back of the net for the game winner against William Jewell, and added 4 assists for 9 points on the season.

2016: All-MIAA Honorable Mention... played in all 17 matches, making 16 starts... helped control the middle of the field for UIU and tallied four shot attempts in the process.

High School: Named to the All-Conference Second Team.

Personal: Born January 28, 1998... son of Amy Russell and Brad Russell... undecided major.
