Upper Iowa made it two straight wins on Friday as they swept the Marauders of the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. The Peacocks (10-6, 3-5 NSIC) hit .342 in the match and forced their hosts into a -.089 hitting percentage. UIU claimed the conference match 25-9, 25-14 and 25-9.

Upper Iowa's offense recorded 32 kills in the match and only committed 6 attack errors, while UMary was only able to knock down 15 kills while committing 23 attack errors. The Peacocks also registered an 8-0 advantage in team blocks.
UIU's offense got better as the match continued. The Peacocks went from 7 to 10 to 15 kills over the course of the match and saw their hitting percentage roll from .304 in the first frame to .320 and finally .393 in the final set.
The team will be back on the court in Minot, N.D. on Saturday. UIU and Minot State will face off at 2 p.m.
