THIS WEEKEND IN PEACOCK WOMEN'S HOOPS... The Upper Iowa women's basketball team preps for their first Northern Sun cross division road weekend of the season this Friday and Saturday. The Peacocks will match up against St. Cloud State University on Friday at 6 p.m. before traveling to the University of Minnesota Duluth on Saturday at 4 p.m.

NEARING HISTORY... Senior
Carly Pagel is nearing the 1,000-point plateau and sits only 41 points away from reaching the accomplishment.
Whitney Kieffer ('16) was the last Peacock to reach the milestone; eleven Peacocks have reached the plateau in the program's history. Pagel is currently averaging 8.6 points per game, along with 4.4 rebounds per game after notching her first double-double of the season last Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State University with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

CAREER NIGHT IN MARSHALL... During last Saturday's 66-59 win at Southwest Minnesota State, sophomore
Blair Klostermann poured in a career-high 30 points and added 9 rebounds. The Dyersville, Iowa product is currently averaging 17.5 points per game including 20.4 points per game in the team's 10 NSIC games.

SIZING UP ST. CLOUD STATE… St. Cloud State is coming off of a weekend split with the University of Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State University. SCSU outscored BSU 21-9 in points off turnovers after forcing 16 Beaver giveaways to fuel their 65-59 victory. On Saturday, Minnesota Crookston claimed a 41-14 advantage in bench points as they edged the Huskies 78-76. For the weekend, the Huskies were led by Amanda Christianson, who scored 44 points while shooting 4-5 beyond the arc versus Minnesota Crookston. Betsy MacDonald poured in 34 points and dished out 12 assists in the two games. Brianna Johnson led the way with 15 rebounds over the weekend.

CHECKING IN ON THE BULLDOGS... Minnesota Duluth came away with two wins in three games played last week. UMD split the weekend series with a win over Minnesota Crookston and loss to Bemidji State. The Bulldogs were able to extend its winning streak to five – the longest since 2011-12, before falling to Bemidji State on Saturday. The Bulldogs scored 84 points, their second highest total of the season, while shooting 47.2 percent against the Golden Eagles. Minnesota Duluth took care of the ball in Saturday's loss only turning the ball over just twice against Bemidji State. Allyson Harris led the way for the Bulldogs averaging 12.3 points, 3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. Sammy Kozlowski totaled a team-high 16 points against Bemidji State and averaged 11.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists on the weekend. Taylor Meyer reached a new season-high with 21 points in the victory over UMC, while picking up double-doubles in the games against Wisconsin-Superior and Bemidji State.
