Head Baseball Coach Mark Danker announced that the Peacocks' non-conference double header against Lewis University this Wednesday has been cancelled due to current field conditions thanks to the ice and snow that fell overnight from Sunday to Monday in Fayette.  The series could not be moved to Romeoville, Ill. and Lewis' campus due to the same weather and snow accumulation.  The games will not be made up.

Upper Iowa is currently 7-9 overall and 0-4 in the Northern Sun Conference after being swept by #5 St. Cloud State University last weekend.  UIU will return to action this Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 28-29, in Fayette on Robertson Woods Field.  The Peacocks will welcome the Golden Eagles of the University of Minnesota Crookston to Fayette for a pair of double headers that are both slated to start at 12 p.m.  UIU defeated UMC 9-8 in 14 innings in Clearwater, Fla. in the Peacocks' tenth and final game during their seven day swing earlier this spring.
