Â
2Â Â Â Â Â Â NOT JOSHING AROUND: Junior forward
Josh Weeber has been on fire to start the year for the Peacocks. The Dubuque native has hit 58.3% (14-24) of his threes and is shooting 53.5% (23-43) from the floor overall, while knocking down free throws at an 87% (20-23) clip.
Â
3Â Â Â Â Â Â COACHING CONNECTION: Peacock Head Coach
Brooks McKowen and Truman State Head Coach Chris Foster played together at Northern Iowa. Foster was a Panther from 2000-2005, overlapping with McKowen for the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Foster was also a GA and director of basketball ops for UNI while McKowen was a player.
Â
4Â Â Â Â Â Â SAY HAY KID: Senior
Jordan Hay has started the year strong, scoring 19 points in just 25 minutes over two games. Hay is a perfect 7-for-7 from the field and has gone 5-8 from the free throw line.
