Upper Iowa wrapped up the week with another 2-1 conference win to improve to 3-2 in MIAA play. The Peacocks jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first half and cruised to victory against Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma.
Troy Ewers put UIU up 1-0 with a goal just 12 minutes into the game, his second goal of the season.

Twenty three minutes later, the Peacocks pushed their lead to two. Junior defender
Sebastian Smith found a loose ball in front of the Crimson Storm goal and buried it for the first goal of his Peacock career. UIU went into halftime leading 2-0.
The Crimson Storm bounced back with a goal 12 minutes into the second half by Freddy DiNang, but that was as close as SNU would get. The Crimson Storm managed just two more shots on goal for the remainder of the game.
The Peacocks outshot SNU 18-17, but the Crimson Storm only managed to put four shots on goal, while UIU put seven on frame.
Leandro Pena led the charge for Upper Iowa with five shots, while
Ryan Pinkerton,
Greg Marshall and Ewers each had three.
Connor Rortvedt made three saves in goal for the Peacocks.
