A look at the NSIC Standings…
The NSIC Baseball Championships are coming up quick and the top six teams in the standings will earn a berth into the tournament. With a week of games to play, the top five spots in the tournament look to be spoken for by Minnesota State, Augustana, St. Cloud State, Wayne State and Winona State. The final spot may not be decided and earned until the final day of the season as five teams are eyeing the invitation. Southwest Minnesota State is in sixth at 12-12, while Upper Iowa sits just a half game behind with a 12-13 mark. Bemidji State (11-15), Concordia (10-14) and Minnesota Duluth (10-15) are all still in the hunt for the final spot as well.
Last time the Peacocks and Marauders met…

Fabian Lopez earned the win in game two and Brett Westra picked up the save in a 6-5 win for the home team in game two. The Peacocks won game three thanks to a walk-off single up the middle by Nick Bergeman for a 4-3 win. U-Mary claimed the final game of the series, 8-3, after touching up the Peacock pitchers in the early innings.
