The Peacock men's soccer team got back onto Pattison Field this afternoon against the Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan. A scoreless game in the first half gave way to a goal by Frank Atchison in the 59th minute to give Upper Iowa a 1-0 victory. After today's win, the Peacocks improve to 3-3-1 on the season.

In the second half, UIU outshot DWU 14-4. In the 59th minute, Marco Garcia put a shot on goal, the ball was defended, deflected off of Atchison and rolled past the goalie to put the Peacocks ahead for good.

Andrew Youde gets the win with an eight save shutout.

Upper Iowa will host Truman State on Sunday as part of a women's/men's double header.  The men's team will line up with the Bulldogs at 3 p.m.
