Box Score

The Peacock men's soccer team opened up their home slate this afternoon amid a rainy day in Fayette.  Upper Iowa improved to 2-3-1 on the season with a 3-0 controlled win over Jamestown College.

Frank Atchison took a corner kick just before halftime and was credited with a goal after the ball bounced off of the Jamestown defenders and past their goal keeper for the game's first score.  In the second half, Zach Castor finished a header into the back of the net on a beautiful pair of assists from Derek Oelmann and Marco Garcia.  The final goal of the match came when Jason Olsgard finished a strike from ten yards away.

Andrew Youde earned the shutout victory while making four saves.

Each team took ten shots in the match, while Upper Iowa earned a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The Peacocks will host Dakota Wesleyan on Pattison Field in Fayette this coming Wednesday at 4 p.m.
