Upper Iowa's volleyball team was swept in three sets by the #10 Wildcats of Wayne State College in Dorman Gym this evening.  The Peacocks dropped the first two sets by a pair of close three-point decisions (25-22), before dropping the third and final set 25-19. 
The loss drops UIU's record to 7-5 overall and 1-2 in the NSIC, while WSC improves to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in conference action.
The Wildcats hit .228 for the match led by Cori Hobbs (15 kills) and Mindy Moody (13 kills).  Upper Iowa hit .136 in the three sets with only one attacker in double figure kills; 
Sara Vance registered 15 kills and hit .263.
Wayne State played large at the net recording 1 solo block and 12 assisted blocks in the match.
Skylar Lesan posted 31 assists, while Vance and 
Kristy Hinrichs each tallied 13 digs and 
Danielle Gernes chipped in 11.
Upper Iowa will host Winona State University on Tuesday, Sept. 20.  The Peacocks and Warriors will face off at 7 p.m. in Dorman Gym.
