The Peacocks lost a pair of matches to Winona State last week. Tuesday’s match in Fayette was a see-saw battle in which the Warriors outlasted the Peacocks in the fifth set 15-10 in Fayette. On Friday, the Warriors dominated the second half of sets one and two and ran away with the third set for a sweep in Winona.

Kayla Wagner held her own in the middle for UIU last week. Wagner blocked 9 Warrior shots for a 1.12/set average and added 10 kills and 3 digs. Her 9 blocks included 3 solo and 6 assisted.

The Peacocks (7-7, 1-4 NSIC) will travel to Northern State and U-Mary this coming Friday and Saturday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, for a pair of NSIC matches.
