Benitz, a redshirt junior from Mosinee, Wis., went 4-0 over the weekend at the National Duals in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Two of those wins were by major decision, while the other two wins were by five and six points. His four matches combined to total 46-18.

Benitz helped UIU to a 4-1 record in duals, placing 5th overall. The Peacocks defeated four ranked teams, including #14 Wheeling Jesuit (24-15), #18 Newberry (24-13), #12 Tiffin (29-15) and #3 Nebraska-Kearney (21-20).
